For Memorial Weekend we made the annual trek to Granger/Mishawaka area. We had a great time at Aunt Sarah and Uncle Sean's. The next day we went to the Mishawaka parade and then to Uncle Dave and Aunt Linda's. It was great to have all the family together. It was a short, but fun visit.

Big Boy Bed

Nathan loves his new big boy bed. He likes to "pretend" to sleep in the bed and bring all of his stuffed animals and blankets into the bed with him. He will spend about 20 minutes a day just sitting in the bed reading. Sooner, rather than later I hope we can transition him into the bed. Here's to hoping we won't have too many sleepless nights with the change!

The other day I went to IKEA and got Nathan's furniture for his big boy room. He had a great time helping daddy screw and hammer things together. We need to get room darkening shades and then we'll start the transition into the bed. I am so nervous! I know he won't stay in the bed so we'll have a few long days/weeks ahead of ourselves!

We spent this past weekend hanging out in Noblesville with Valpo friends. Joel ran the Indy Mini and beat his goal time! I'm thinking Joel will be running the race again next year. Nathan had a great time at the Ferreri's house playing with the kids and fell in love all over again with Thomas the train. The Ferreri's were the best hosts and had great food and entertainment! The neighbor launched his hot air balloon from their lawn!
