High chair issues.

Look mom, I'm a big kid sitting at the table.
Sitting on the big chair.

Nathan removing the high chair because he didn't want to sit in it anymore.

For about a week Nathan was refusing to sit in his high chair. He would just stand up and say "all done!" after a couple of bites (or no bites) and try to climb out. He had to be hungry!! I wasn't going to sit him on my lap so finally I just sat him on the chair. He couldn't have been happier. It took me a day or two to get him to sit in his travel chair, but how he's back to eating like a champ (most days).

A few more pictures..

Walking to the park.
Watching the cars with Daddy

Pumpkin carving.

Bringing in the pumpkins

Helping to clean out the "guts"

Walking around the 'hood.

This was a busy family weekend at the May house. We slept in on Saturday and then carved pumpkins. The rest of the day was spent playing out side and running around the neighborhood with no direction. The day was topped off with dinner at Nathan's favorite place, Lalo's. He loves the guacamole! Sunday, Nathan and I went out to the 'burbs and helped Nathan's friend Zach celebrate his 1st birthday and then stopped by Uncle Matt, Aunt Chrissy and Amber's house. Phew! A full, but fun weekend.

PS The Packers also won so it was a great day!

Valpo and Visiting

Nathan's first church potluck!

This past weekend, Nathan and I went to Valpo for homecoming while Joel stayed home and partied with friends for a bachelor party for two of the guys. I think everyone had a great weekend! Nathan got to spend some time with Aunt Tootie and Aunt Karen on Saturday. He had soooo much fun there. Every time we get in the car he says "Tooties house". I think he misses them! He didn't take a nap at all on Saturday, but it sounds like he was still a lot of fun. On Sunday, Nathan and I met up with Gma and Gpa May in Portage. Grandpa was preaching there so we figured it was easy for us to meet up. After the service we enjoyed the Potluck lunch. Nathan was pretty tired and ended up falling asleep on the way home.

Go Pack Go!!

Watching the Pack.
Armchair QB MVP.
Nathan is quickly becoming a football fan. He likes to hike his football and watch the Packers...and the Bears. He'll have a hard decision to make in a few years. Does he side with Daddy who cheers for the Bears or with his Mommy who loves the Packers. Of course I won't push him in one direction.

Visit from Shannon

The other day Shannon stopped by after her conference downtown. Nathan loved the extra attention and learned the word "wonderful" when she was here. We hope she has more work functions downtown so she can come and play with us again!

'Maters!

Nathan's "smile"

For some reason, I find this pretty funny. Nathan loves tomatoes. He'll just eat one like an apple. I probably think this is funny because I didn't like tomatoes at all when I was younger.

Pumpkin Patch

We've been spending a lot of time outside. It's getting colder, but Nathan still wants to spend as much time outside as possible. This past weekend we went out to the 'burbs and went to a pumpkin farm. It took Nathan a bit to take in all there was to do, but once he found the fire truck and tractor he was a happy kid.
