Kegs and eggs

Nothing too exciting going on here. We're just getting ready for our big trip to Florida. Wish us luck. We leave from South Bend with Aunt Sarah, Thomas and Benjamin on Sunday. Two moms and three kids...pray for us!! Nathan's bottom teeth are coming in and he is still chewing on everything (even bottles:).

Nathan has been a little difficult at meal time. He wants to feed himself and only wants to eat bread and strawberries. I'm going to really have to find something else that he will eat. Otherwise he'll just throw food on the floor. The best part of this week has been daddy! Joel has been slow at work so he has been around a lot more. Nathan now really doesn't want to let go of his dad in the morning. He'll really miss daddy when we're gone next week!

Mommy's little helper!!

Look mom, I can help!

Nathan has a new love affair with the dishwasher. He just loves to try and take out the silverware and throw it on the ground. As soon as he hears me pull down the dishwasher door he comes crawling.

We went to the doctor this week. Nathan is 18lbs 12 oz and 27 1/2 inches. He was all smiles and laughs with the doctor and didn't do too bad when the nurse gave him 2 shots. His 2 bottom teeth are finally popping out! It really hurts when he bites down. Nathan has started to let go when he's standing up. I see a lot of bumps and bruises in the future!
Today is Nathan's 9 month b-day. Where does the time go??

Happy Birthday Uncle Matt!

We had a great time going out to dinner for Uncle Matt's birthday. Nathan was a champ and loved eating all of the bread. Gma and Gpa were probably the happiest (as you can see) because they got to spend time with both of the grand kids. Nathan and Grandpa got to spend some extra quality time together while Gma and I did what we do best - shop! We'll get to see everyone again next weekend for Easter!

I know I keep saying this, but Nathan really seems like he's going to get his first tooth soon. He's chewing on everything and is really cranky. He'll just cry for no reason. He is really staring to cruise now. He can climb the stairs with out help (yikes!)and starting to let go and balance on his knees.

Back to life, back to reality.

Our little #4 - We'll miss Brett!! (except for Daddy)

Back to the cold weather and the long work days for Joel. Nathan really, really, really, missed his dad this week. Every morning before Joel went to work, Nathan would cling onto him. Meanwhile, mom had to deal with a kid who didn't want to take a nap, eat veggies (as opposed to tropical fruit), and would not sit down in his high chair. I finally had to tie him down in his seat. Nathan's new word is "wow". He won't say mama or dada! This weekend Gma and Gpa Mueller will be in town for Uncle Matt's birthday. He'll be 36!! Man, that is old - HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE MATT!

I'm swimming in Cancun!

A tough day at the beach.

Swimming with Dad.

Nathan's first crawl into the sand.

We're back! We had a great time in Cancun!! None of us wanted to leave. Nathan was so much fun and had a great time. We had fun swimming and eating and swimming some more. Nathan has become a real swimmer. All he wanted to do in the water was kick around. The weather was great and Nathan loved the wind in his hair. The plane ride wasn't bad at all and Nathan handled everything like a seasoned travler. We can't thank Gma and Gpa Mueller enough!! They watched Nathan so Joel and I could have some fun at night and stay out until 9:30. I know we are such party animals! Aunt Sarah already has me counting down the days until Florida!! (26)
