Visit from the twins and I wish I was a little bit taller.

We had a great visit with the twins this weekend. They are so sweet! It was nice to see the family and we had a good visit. Isaiah couldn't stop looking at Joel. It was really cute.
Nathan keeps climbing up on everything! He would rather be standing than crawling around. He keeps looking up to see what he can climb up to next. He is even standing in his high chair. Nathan has the best smile and laugh and makes the days fly by. He is really a lot of fun to play with. He claps his hands, gives high-5s and babbles dada. I'm still working on the mama.

We are getting ready for our trip and both Joel and I are a little nervous. It's our first time on a plane with Nathan. Wish us luck!

The future is so bright.

This was a busy week. We were on the go almost every day. The result, a tired little guy. We spent all day today catching up on our sleep. Another busy week is coming up. Next weekend Nathan will be taking his first plane ride. Our little family will be meeting up with Gma and Gpa Mueller for a quick getaway to Cancun! I don't know who is more excited, me or Gma Mueller. I bought a pair of shades for the trip and Nathan practiced wearing them. He didn't do too bad.
This weekend will be our last swimming lessons class. Now I need to find another Saturday activity for the family. Any suggestions???

Everyone look at the camera!

Here are the 4 youngest cousins all together -Benjamin, Adrienne, Isaiah and Nathan. I have a feeling in a few short years from now these four are going to be big trouble. It's amazing how fast the twins are growing and how Benjamin is becoming a little boy.

Nathan is still on the move. He's accomplished a lot in the last couple of days. Now is crawling on all fours and clapping his hands. He is a lot of fun to play with and laughs at his crazy mom. Today he had pancakes for the first time and had a great time destroying/eating them.

Cause when you're up, you're up!

Nathan just loves to stand up. Yesterday he learned how to stand up in his crib. Let me tell you how much fun naptime was yesterday! He was so proud of himself that I had to take a picture. Yesterday he couldn't figure out how to get down in his crib once he was standing. After about 20 -30 minutes he started crying and then fell down only to stand up again. I wasn't sure how to deal with this so I called Aunt Sarah for support and only got a baby who cried even louder. A lot happened in between, but the end result was Nathan sleeping on me. Can't say I didn't mind that too much since it's a wonderful feeling to have your baby sleeping on your chest.

Today, naptime wasn't too bad. I had a few laughs watching Nathan stand up and then reach for the mattress for a good 15 minutes. He was getting a good workout standing up then sitting down!

Who knows what tomorrow will bring!

Wow! That was fast.

It was a pretty laid back week here, but still busy. Nathan went from pulling up on his knees to pulling up to stand on everything!! The first thing he decided to pull up on was the fireplace in our living room. Great. We're working on the word "NO". I'm pretty sure he knows what it means but doesn't listen.

Nathan got a cold on Wednesday, but it hasn't slowed him down at all. He still wants to crawl over and under everything. I feel like a snot rag right now and Nathan doesn't seem to mind slobbering all over.

The Twins!!

It was a busy week of shoveling and playing (holding Nathan outside) in the snow. We got about 10 inches of snow the other day and had fun watching daddy shovel. We also went to see the newest editions to the family, twins Adrienne and Isaiah. Nathan gave them kisses and liked to grab Isaiah's hands.

Today we all went to our first swimming lesson. Mom and Dad were a little nervous that Nathan was going to scream the entire time, but he had so much fun. By the end of the lesson he was splashing and kicking around. We can't wait until next Saturday!

Nathan has been practicing his slam dunks and continues to try and climb up everything. He gets to his knees pretty easliy and is starting to let go and balance on his knees. It's pretty funny to watch. Before we know it he'll be walking all over the place.
